Enkhuizen and Fairy Tale Wonderland
Just a stone's throw away, you'll find the charming town of Enkhuizen. In Enkhuizen, you'll find the beautiful Fairy Tale Wonderland, where all the fairy tales come to life. Take a boat ride in the ladybird boats or explore the fairy tale park by train. Will you fly on a magic carpet, dance with the orangutan orchestra, or would you prefer a ride on the nostalgic carousel? All of this is possible at Fairy Tale Wonderland! Fairy Tale Wonderland is located just 20 minutes by car from Holiday Park Het Grootslag.
Animation Team
During the summer holidays (and sometimes in the small holidays), our animation team is present at the park to organize fun activities for the children. From crafting to outdoor activities or a fun kids' disco.
Day Trips in North Holland
Of course, there’s much more to experience for families with children in North Holland. Fun trips to Amsterdam, Enkhuizen, Alkmaar, Haarlem, Texel, or the North Sea coast? All of this is possible from a bungalow or chalet at Holiday Park Het Grootslag.
In addition to the many beaches and historical cities, there’s plenty more to experience. For example, visit the world-famous village of Volendam, where you can take part in many traditions, such as eating herring, tasting cheese at the cheese museum, or even walking around in traditional Dutch costumes.

Facilities at Our Holiday Park
There’s always something to do at our holiday park! Our guests can enjoy the indoor swimming pool (with a separate toddler and children's pool), tennis court, and mini-golf course. Our holiday park is not only close to the beautiful cities of Hoorn, Enkhuizen, and Alkmaar but is also located in a peaceful area where you can take stunning walking and cycling trips.
The park features several restaurants, a cozy bar with a bowling alley, and from April to October, our supermarket is also open. A full overview of all our facilities is available at the reception.
