Is it possible to arrive or depart on a day other than Monday or Friday?

This is only possible during public holidays after Easter/Whitsun, for Ascension Day, etc. Outside of holiday periods, this can be arranged in consultation with the reception.

Can I take out cancellation insurance? VHoliday Park Het Grootslag does not offer cancellation insurance. We advise you to take out your own cancellation insurance (e.g., Rabobank, ANWB).

Is barbecuing allowed in the park? Barbecuing is allowed at all accommodations, as long as it does not disturb other guests. Do not use flammable substances, and ensure you have a bucket of water or sand.

When do I need to pay after making a reservation? A deposit of 30% must be paid within 3 days after booking (the remaining amount is due 42 days before arrival). You can pay directly during online booking. If you prefer not to, you will receive a confirmation email allowing you to pay via IDEAL. You can also transfer the money, but please allow at least 3 days for an international transfer! Payment terms can be found in the booking confirmation.

Will I receive a payment confirmation once I have transferred the money? Yes, we will send you a confirmation as soon as we receive your payment. If we do not receive the payment on time, we will send you a payment reminder via email.

Do friends or family members visiting me need to pay? Day visits are free of charge. However, if your guests are staying overnight, you must inform the reception. You only need to pay the tourist tax for your guests.

Do you offer bike rentals? From Easter to the autumn holidays, you can rent bicycles, child seats, and pedal carts at the reception. 

Are pets allowed in the park? A maximum of 2 pets are allowed per accommodation. You must indicate this when booking. Do not leave your pet alone in the holiday home, as some dogs may get stressed and damage the furniture! We also have pet-free bungalows and chalets.

From what time can I check in? You can check in from 9:00 AM. The accommodation key can be collected from the reception from 4:00 PM. You can use the park's facilities throughout the day...

Can I place a baby bed in a chalet? We advise against placing a baby bed in a chalet, as there is limited space. In the 3-bedroom bungalows, there is space for a baby bed in one of the bedrooms. In the 10-person family house, a baby bed and a playpen are already provided and do not need to be booked separately.

Is there a coffee machine or Senseo in the accommodation? Standard accommodations are equipped with a filter coffee machine. In the comfort accommodations, there is also a Senseo available.

Can I arrive outside of opening hours? This is possible if the reservation has been prepaid. Please contact the reception in advance to discuss the key handover.

II recently booked and now I see a last-minute discount. Can I still get this discount? No, unfortunately, this discount is only available for guests who book at the last minute. Last-minute discounts are not granted for existing bookings.

Do I need to bring my own bed linen? The accommodations are equipped with duvets and pillows. Renting bed linen is mandatory and costs €11 per package. Towels, kitchen towels, and baby furniture can be reserved upon request. The ordered items will be ready for you in your accommodation upon arrival. If you don't want to make the beds, you can pre-order made-up beds. In the second-to-last step of the booking process, you can indicate which beds we should prepare for you.

What time should I check out? You must return the key to the reception no later than 10:00 AM.

Is there a laundromat in the park? Yes, the laundromat is located next to the park shop. You can use a washing machine or dryer and pay with your debit card. You do not need to bring detergent for the washing machines, as it is already in the machines and automatically dispensed.

Is there Wi-Fi in the park? Free Wi-Fi is available in all accommodations. You can also use free Wi-Fi in the centrally located restaurants and cafés.
What are the duvets and pillows made of in the accommodations? Cover: 50% cotton, 50% polyester (striped)

Filling: 100% siliconized hollow fiber (polyester)
